Responsibilities:

Business Strategy
• To develop regular segment sales tactics, including customer
strategies to secure competitor business in major and key account portfolios and incorporate them into all major targets set for the sales team.
• To drive segment sales improvement through regionally harmonized processes and procedures as well as the supporting process and systems, particularly the Funnel.
• To design sales and implement marketing campaigns that target business and industry sectors, including new industries and open niche markets
• To identify and develop new product opportunities with the country general manager
• To manage the development and delivery of services and solutions that provide consistency and re-usability to enable selected accounts to achieve corporate objectives and gain competitive advantage through the application of supply chain solutions to selected accounts
• To systematically compile competitor research to counter threats

Customer Relations and Communications
• To identify, establish and manage multi-tiered relationships across customer and company to ensure a long-term business partnership
• To build executive relationships within the selected account
• To lead and manage customer presentations and proposals, ensuring there is a common understanding of service expectations and supply chain solutions, both with the customer and company
• To operate as lead consultant to propose performance improvement work based on customer’s needs, manage and deliver customer focused service.

Financial Performance
• To achieve agreed revenue and profit targets
• To monitor financial health of accounts and take steps to assure profitability


Sales Leadership
• To identify training needs and perform staff appraisals, including coaching of sales team
• To perform regular co-visit/calls with members of the sales team to monitor development of skills and to identify further areas for training and development
• To monitor Funnel’s updating to ensure database supports sales initiatives.
• To provide day to day support and direction for sales team to ensure they meet revenue and product targets
• To prepare sale team’s performance and achievement reports for country general manager and corporate commercial team

CRM (Funnel) Inputs
• To actively use Funnel to record sales activities and pipelines/opportunities



Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least at bachelor’s degree, post graduate diploma, professional degree, economics, finance/accountancy/banking, marketing or equivalent
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Preferably managers specializing in Marketing/Business Development or equivalent
• Pallet space, skus and pick to like, cycle count
